The last episodes and the finale
Ece, walks hand in hand with Hazim. She has braved the storms. Afra shows that Ece now has sterner features but this gently brings something more humane back into the cold and empty rooms of the mansion. After the suffering she has been through, Ece has matured into a strong young woman, brave and still caring and loving for those around her. Hopefully now in the story this journey from being in prison and being plotted against may allow Afra's character to use her new found strength to combat naivety,
It is clear Ece is too good for the turmoil and behaviour around her and she finds herself, braving constantly against the storm that is life and naturally she is willing herself to rise again. Ece is struggling through all of it, despite the courage she is trying to summon. Ece is naive when she fights back against others in the story, and this often leads to her being misunderstood because she does not use manipulation and she does not therefore speak with restraint after enduring injustice for so long.
At this point in the series in episode 40, Fazilet is becoming more and more antagonistic and coldly calculating for her own ends - even if these ends are to preserve the status of her family. Desperate to keep all in order she now is tyrannising over both her daughters lives in passive abrasive ways. She wants to keep her daughters' relationships controlled and due to the forbidden nature of what they both really want. Ece at this point, once the moment comes when all it revealed to Yasin about Selin's misdeeds and lies, Ece finds herself more then ever determined for revenge. The bond between Ömrüm and Yasemin is a central segment to the story, portrayed astonishingly well by Hazal Türesan. and Ömrüm Nur Çamçakallı. , and this beauty is a heartful centre of the major theme of the motherhood thus far. The Bond of Motherhood, and the courage in the face of the evils of ambition.
Motherhood is portrayed as a protective force, a strong force that will yield in the face of suffering and that defeats ambition and greed. We have Fazilet... her ambition is now about controlling her daughters' lives in order to keep them from sabotaging their standing in the mansion, and her ambition results in cruel outcomes. She is so ambitious she lacks the ability or at least the desire to see the evident sadness that her expectations leave on her daughters faces.
Yasemin and Omrum
We have Ece, who is protecting her child throughout a very turbulent time without the support of the real father of her child. She is surviving for both her child and herself.
And then we have Yasemin; her bond is pure with her child. Despite the fact she has left the child with another woman and even abandons Ömrü, she is doing so for the sake of her daughters wellbeing. There are similarities between this situation and Les Misérables.
Where Fantine leaves her daughter Corset with relatives and sends them money, earning money for her survival, Yasemin technically does the same in spirit.
Yasemin is antagonistic, bitter, manipulative and cold about her need for the Egeman mansion, status yet. she is the same as Fantine on the leval where she loves her daughter so very much and it can be seen that she wants to protect her. This protection is here, even if this means protecting her daughter from own personality, ambition and the situations
that she had found herself in the Egeman mansion. There is a very similar resemblance of both motherly bonds.
If Fazilet could be compared to Yasemin, then it is evident that Fazilet is optimistic about her daughter's future and a visionary whereas Yasemin is pessimistic and resigned to the idea that life is a struggle and that there is little hope of her being a good mother. She understands at least her actions, no matter what her intention is.. These actions are not good for a mother to possess and therefore she seeks to distance or even protect Ömrüm from herself. This does more damage to the child in terms of omrums happiness because of the deprivation of the motherly bond.
Fazilet on the other hand, may act monstrous but for the majority of the series, has "moved past" the conclusion that her actions are actively destroying her daughter's and are destructive. Instead she puts her daughter in the soup she stirs, for lack of a better metaphor. rather than keep them from the heat of the kitchen, like Yasemin does, Fazilet makes them the fire... makes them the catalyst whilst working behind the scenes. Although she keeps the motherly bond constantly, this becomes stifling and destructive.
Yasins marriage with Selin gets broken and finally he finds out the truth that Selin had kept from him about her pregnancy that was not a proper pregnancy and did not last for as long as he was told by her. He climbs over the mansion gates and leaves. There is a scene in episode 40, between Ece and Yasin where they finally are able to talk things through. It is a very powerful, dramatic climax and very sorrowful. The hidden things that have torn Ece and Yasin apart, all the suffering this has caused is depicted in the tearful strength by both of them. A beautiful performance that delivers so much emotion and built up hopelessness that Ece has kept bitterly, gradually becoming more, locked away. It is therefore very cathartic for the audience to see this injustice finally be able to be explained between the two of them after so much misunderstanding.

Nagi
Nagi is the name for Afra's dog. Nugget or Nagihan is the full name of the doggie. All through her journey sweet little Nagi has always been there and from the pictures the bond between Afra and her dog is very sweet. Nagi and Afra celebrated New years and Nagi's sixth birthday together as Nagi's birthday is around the same time as new years. Nagi accompanies Afra in her work and has made sweet and rare appearances in Yali Capkini in some Episodes as well as on the final episode with Seyrans Daughter Duru. Nagi is her first dog, from her mother. Nagi made a appearance on the collaboration project, Love & Shine w/@afrasaracoglu / Based Istanbul x ysl beauty collab. Nagi is well known on the set of Yali Capkini and has made freinds with everyone. Afra loves her dog very much.
Afra's deep and wonderful friendships with her dog, her family and close freinds show that her personal life and work is sparkling and rich with joy. This is the first in history, she is the first Turkish actress to grace the cover of the Elle Jeweller's book . In the book, her words show her mature nature and ability to remain herself despite the spotlight. Only those who know her closely, understand and always see the true Afra, and that is the most important thing. To be able to spend time alone and live life to the fullest, loving every aspect of herself, being proud of where she is today, shows that she is strong enough to remain the lady she is.
